With most movies backing out at the last moment only five movies remains on course for release on Tamil Festival of Pongal. lets have a look at the few remaining ones.

Aayirathil Oruvan

Highly anticipated movie of the new year is 32 crore budget Karthi Starrer, Aayirathil Oruvan. The movie has a good lineup of cast that includes Karthi,Parthiban,Reema Sen and Andrea.The movie is directed by Blockbuster director Selvaraghavan.
The story revolves around two Archaelogical researchers Andrea and Reema and their porter cum assitant karthi. They are seeking a special discovery (parthiban).. so goes the story..

Kutti

Dhanush starrer Kutti is a remake of the successful Telugu Film “Arya” starring Chiranjivi’s relative Allu Aravind. Dhanush and Shreya (Shriya Saran) appear as college students in love in this movie.

Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam

A movie plotted in Colonial era, where the hero fights for freedom. Starring Raghava Lawrence,Padmapriya,Lakshmi Rai and Sandhya, the movie is directed by Simbhu Devan (23m Puligesi fame).

Naanayam

Prasanna,Sibi raja and Yasmin starrer sees Sibiraj turning Villain. Sibiraj tries to work the majic of his father in the past by becoming a villain.

Porkkalam

Kishore who starred in Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu ,Polladhavan, plays hero in this movie, who solves problem of telugu girl in Andhra pradesh.
